Property and Cancellation Policies


STANDARD RATE: No advance payment is required when booking on our website, except on event days*, for groups of more than 10 people** and for bookings over €300***. We ask for card details only to secure the reservation. This rate also applies to offers and promotions.
If there is any change or error in your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible. You can cancel your reservation for free up to 24 hours before 3pm of your arrival day, except on event days*, for groups of more than 10 people** and for reservations of more than €300***. Otherwise or in case of a "no-show", the first night of your reservation will be charged.


NON-REFUNDABLE
: The reservation is charged by card at the time of booking and the payment is non-refundable in case of cancellation or changes. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if we are unable to take the payment. Contact us by email or WhatsApp for payment by Revolut, Bizum or bank transfer.


*Event days policy

All bookings (including standard rate) with stay dates falling on at least one of the following days are
NON-REFUNDABLE and will be charged at the time of booking. The payment is non-refundable in case of cancellation or changes. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if we are unable to take the payment. Contact us by email or WhatsApp if you wish to pay by Revolut or bank transfer.

From 30th March to 5th April 2026 - Semana Santa (Easter week)

From 30th April to 4th May 2026 - Labour Day and Día de la Cruz

From 30th to 31st October 2026 - All Saints

From 4th to 8th December 2026 - Día de la Constitución e Inmaculada Concepción

**Groups Policy

groups of more than 10 people, please contact us via email at info@elgranado.com.

***Bookings of more than €300 and less than 10 people
For these bookings, we charge 50% upon reservation and the remaining 50% on the day of arrival. Both payments are non-refundable in case of cancellation.

This is a list of our most important ones:
- Once you have checked in at the hostel, the total amount for your reservation is non-refundable.
- No pre-payments when booking on our website (see exceptions in Cancellation Policy)
- You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before 15:00 on the day of arrival (see exceptions in Cancellation Policy)

- Check-in is from 15:00. Reception is open from 9:00 to 21:00 every day. If you think you'll arrive after 21:00, please contact us via whatsapp or email so that around 20:00 of your arrival day we can send you the self check-in instructions

- You can come to El Granado from 9:00 to leave your bag and chill-out in our common areas, we'll give you the key at 15:00 latest

- Check-out is from 8:00 to 11:00 (early check-out is possible)
- El Granado Hostel is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items
- Non-smoking policy in all rooms and common areas except for the rooftop terrace - fine: €50
- Pets are only allowed in private rooms

- Teenagers below 16 years old can only stay if accompanied by an adult.
- Lost key fee: €10

SMS and Text Messaging Policy

We use a guest messaging platform to communicate with you regarding your stay. By providing your phone number during the booking process, you consent to receive text messages from the property.

Purpose: Text messaging may be used to send check-in instructions, access information, room readiness updates, and to respond to your requests during your stay.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You will receive a final confirmation message, after which no further SMS messages will be sent.

Help: If you experience issues or need assistance, you may reply HELP or contact the front desk directly.

Privacy of Mobile Data: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
